For the third time Lemax celebrates the „Girls in ICT Day“ under the name “ICT Supergirls 2017”, traditionally celebrated throughout the world in April.
As in previous years, we have prepared many interesting presentations of successful businesswomen from the ICT scene that will tell their life stories and experiences in the information – communication technology.The aim is that their successful career stories, workshops, networking, and best practices encourage young women to consider a future in technology, gain new skills and knowledge, as well as business contacts.
This year, as a part of the event, we are starting a mentoring program under the name “You Can Do IT” – an initiative that is meant to help girls get to know more about the opportunities and challenges of the business world, especially in occupations within ICT.
The aim of this program is to share knowledge and experience with girls who want to expand their horizons, change their career or choose a future career and further develop their self-confidence.
The event will gather a large number of female students and girls, together with experienced IT experts. An interesting program will allow our guests to get answers to questions about choosing a career, women in this sector, and in general, the benefits and challenges that the ICT sector offers.
